  • I arrived a bit early today to help prepare for a guest author who was going to read her book to the grade 4 class. We had to rearrange the room to make space for the other grade 4 class.
  • Author Michelle Gregan read from her book "Winter Storm".

  • Once the author was finished we started an English unit on story writing. Students had to complete a mind map for a story they will be developing over the next couple of weeks. I spent most of my time helping Michael and Brenda come up with some ideas to put on their maps.

  • During recess I photocopied some multiplication/division math worksheets for Ms. Simpson. I helped several students work on the sheet until the end of the day.
